Some Image File Information From Our Printer NAPCO
” .tiff is not necessary. If using .svg or other vector formats, the .pdf will preserve the vector elements and should not rasterize them, including type. Jpg is acceptable as long as the resolution is good. I would recommend pdf.

For resolution I would not go lower than 150dpi, no higher than 300, but you could go as low as 150 if you want to reduce file size. View at 100% size on screen to see how it will look when printed. If there is color going to the edge, preferably there should bean 1/8th of an inch bleed all around. ” — NAPCO Graphics Specialist
- .PDF is the preferred format by our printer. (See above)
- RESOLUTION SPECS: Ensure they have a sufficient resolution between >150 DPI and 300 DPI.
- FILE SIZE: try not to exceed 10MB if possible! Otherwise please contact the golf committee directly for instructions on how to get the file to us and our printer.
PLEASE CONVERT THESE FORMATS TO .PDF FILES:
- Here is a link were you can convert .jpg and other file formats to .PDF for free: https://cloudconvert.com/
- (Vector File Formats) such as .SVG – (Unlike raster files (i.e., JPGs), which are made up of pixels, vector graphics, like .SVG, always maintain their resolution no matter how large or small you make them. This makes them great for digital graphics like logos, icons, or infographics.)
- .TIFF image 16 bit no lower than 8 bit format for high-quality, lossless images and ensure your images are saved in CMYK color mode.
- AVOID… ( .JPG, .GIF, .PNG ) as there can be some image quality losses when making larger prints from them!
